Alvin Charles Provanchie, 65 of Tulsa passed away at home on Sunday June 12, 2022.

Alvin was born on November 23, 1956 in Crown Point, NY to Charles Horace and Bertha Jane (French) Provanchie.  He lived in Syracuse, NY, for a time while in school, moving to Saratoga Springs, NY later where he joined the US Army, serving as a Ranger for over two years before an injury forced him to accept a medical discharge. He worked at Kmart for many years where he had many friends. Alvin moved to Oklahoma, living with his sister in Tulsa for the past 15 years.  He was employed as a lathe operator for Fibercast until retiring after more than 10 years with them. Alvin enjoyed playing golf with his brothers and friends.  He also enjoyed fishing and watching the New York Yankees Baseball and NY Giants Football.

Any services will be held in New York at a later date.

Survivors include his brother, Gerald Provanchie; three sisters, Karen (Ronnie) Baker, Victoria (David) Kilburn and Beth Sweet.

He was preceded in death by his parents Charles and Bertha; brothers Charles and Joseph.
