Andra Leah Short Muir, 60, of Sand Springs, Oklahoma, passed away surrounded by loved ones. She was born to Carolyn and Andrew Short May 5, 1964 and passed away October, 16, 2024. She was a 1982 graduate of Charles Page High School.

Andra was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She married the love of her life, John Muir, on July 3, 1997. Together, they built a life filled with joy, love, and family. Andra cherished every moment with her family, especially her grandkids, whom she raised after her daughter Brooke's death. Her grandchildren and great grandchildren were the light of her life.

She is survived by her husband, John Muir; her parents, Carolyn and Andrew Short; her sisters Angie Short and Amy Pennington; her brother-in-law Brett Pennington;her niece Sydney Romero, nephews Caden and Ty Pennington, great niece Rowan Romero,  her grandchildren Riley Mathews, Logan Kleck, and Alyssa Redfearn and her husband Zach Redfearn; and her great-grandchildren Brooks and Beau Redfearn. She has 2 more great grandkids on the way.

Andra was preceded in death by her beloved daughter, Brooke Lauren Whitaker, and her granddaughter, Kya Jade Whitaker, and her grandmother Carol Goad.

A lover of the outdoors, Andra found peace in gardening, caring for her flowers, and teaching her grandsons how to grow watermelons. She loved the simple things in life, from mowing the lawn, cooking, to spending time with her cherished dogs, Molly and Sunshine. Andra also enjoyed trips to the casino, watching soap operas, rooting for ou football and Dallas Cowboys, eating out every weekend, and watching her grandchildren grow.

Her warmth, love, and devotion to her family will be dearly missed, but her legacy will live on in the hearts of all who knew her

Andra's services are under the care of Mobley-Groesbeck Funeral Service.

Memorial services will be held on Thursday October, 24, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. in the Welcome Home Church, Tulsa, Ok.
