Anita Ruth Etheridge, lovingly known as "Nana" to many, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her family on August 28, 2025, at the age of 68. Born on August 24, 1957, in Henryetta, Oklahoma, Anita was the beloved daughter of Earl and Opal Holcomb.

On July 14, 1973, Anita married her lifelong partner, Ronald Dee Etheridge. Their marriage was a testament to love, faith, and devotion. For more than 35 years, Anita led the song service at Amazing Grace Holiness Church, where her voice and spirit inspired and uplifted all who heard her.

Anita found joy in the simple and meaningful moments of life. She loved traveling to Corpus Christi with family and friends, working around the church, gardening, cooking countless meals, and making some of the best sugar cookies anyone ever tasted. Her warmth, laughter, and unwavering love created a home where everyone felt welcome.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Earl and Opal Holcomb; her sister, Judy (Butch) Hogue; son in-law Roger Stephens; and her granddaughter, Katelyn Chambers.

Anita is survived by her devoted husband, Ron Etheridge; her children, Christi (Randy) Bostick, Angie (Jason) Rogers, and Katy Etheridge; her grandchildren, Emily, Anna, Ariel (Morgan), Micah, Weston, Braden, and Abbie; her brother, Earl (Betty) Holcomb; her sister, Barbra (Harold) Goodman; and a host of nieces and nephews. Her legacy of love, faith, and kindness lives on in each of them.

Anita will be deeply missed but forever remembered for her generous heart, her steadfast faith, and the beautiful songs she sang that touched so many lives.
