Barbara Sue Jordan, age 88, of Sand Springs, passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family. Services are under the direction of Mobley-Groesbeck Funeral Service of Sand Springs.

Barbara was born at the family home on February 12, 1937, in Keystone, Oklahoma, to Clark and Eldine Alice (Roop) Collins.

She attended Keystone School before pursuing her passion for beauty at cosmetology school, where she worked as a beautician for several years. Later, she dedicated many years to Liberty Glass, where she worked faithfully until her retirement at age 62. Barbara was a dependable and dedicated employee, admired and loved by her coworkers. She was a woman of few words, but when she spoke, people listened.

Barbara found joy in life's simple pleasures. She loved tending her vegetable garden and took pride in canning the produce she grew. An exceptional cook, she delighted in preparing meals for her family—her fried chicken was a favorite. She also enjoyed thrift shopping and collecting glassware, building an impressive collection over the years. Attending the Affair of the Heart was a highlight for her, and in quieter moments, she could often be found relaxing with her favorite programs on the Hallmark and Mystery channels.

Barbara's life was a testament to hard work, devotion, and love for family. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

She was preceded in death by her brother, Clark Dale Collins, and her sister, Patricia Joy Collins Patrick.

Left to cherish her memory are her son, Mike Withrow and wife Dianna of Sand Springs; her daughter, Lena Cox Fuller and husband Danny of Sand Springs; two grandchildren, Rachel Withrow Brown and Caitlin Withrow Todhunter; and her great-grandchildren, Brady, Brees, Beck, and Blair Todhunter.

Visitation will be held from 12:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, September 23, 2025, at the funeral home. A graveside service will take place at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, September 24, 2025, at Woodland Cemetery.
