Barbara Jo Pollard entered Heaven's gates to be with her Lord and Savior on Wednesday, March 9, 2022, at the age of 83. Arrangements are entrusted to the care of Mobley-Groesbeck Funeral Service of Sand Springs.

The daughter of Jess Earl Lockridge and Bessie (Mills) Lockridge was born May 26, 1938, in Noblesville, Indiana. Barbara married Francis Buck Kepner, and they had two children, Kerry Kepner and Kevin Bud Pollard. After a few years they were divorced and during this time she met, Dr. Jerry Pollard, while he was her dentist in Noblesville. They courted and were later married and had Kristie, Nancy, and Jerie Lynn. They made their home in Noblesville before moving to Mannford in 1968 to be near Jerry's parents. Establishing Jerry's dentist practice in Mannford, he became the town's first dentist. Throughout the years Barbara helped Jerry in all aspects of the office. Barbara was a longtime member of First Baptist Church in Mannford.

Barbara was a beautiful, vibrant, energetic, spunky, fireball that was young at heart. She was funny, often ornery and loved to play pranks on her family and friends. She loved to dance, put together puzzles, watching OKC Thunder basketball games, and an occasionally stop at the casino to play. Barbara was a natural caregiver all of her life, taking care of everyone around her. There was nothing she treasured more than spending time with her family, playing cards, and a competitive game of spoons. Barbara and Jerry often went camping with the children when they were younger and had many adventures traveling together throughout the years. They especially enjoyed their time spent on cruises.

Barbara is preceded in death by her husband, Jerry in 1994; her son, Kerry Kepner; daughter, Janet Rodman; her parents; siblings: Earl "Junior" Lockridge, Ellen Epperson, Opal Simmerman, Phyllis Roberts, Betty Thomas, and Jackie Lockridge; and her daughter-in-law, Lisa Pollard.

Survivors include her children: Steve Troutman and wife, Sherry of Sand Springs, Kevin Bud Pollard of Broken Arrow, Kristie Welsh and husband, Rory of Niagara Falls, NY, Nancy Pollard of Lubbock, TX, and Jerie Lynn Carter and husband, Greg of Sand Springs; grandchildren: Jason Troutman, Cassie Watkins, Micah James, Teri Sluder, Kellie Boyd, Gideon VanRiette, Gabriel VanRiette, Kevin Pollard, Jr., Amber King, Ashley Buff, Steve Cannon, II, Nick Cannon, Kianne Alvarado, Jerry Davis, Tyler Pollard, Hope Durham, Faith Floyd, Tyler Carter, Katy Adams, Hunter Swafford, and Brody Carter; 18 great-grandchildren, and many extended family members.
