Beverly Joann
Mathews
Mar 26, 1955 — May 12, 2026
Sand Springs
Beverly Jo Ann Mathews, 71, passed away peacefully on May 12, 2026, in Tulsa, Oklahoma. She was born in Butler, Missouri, to Charles Edward Dills and Anita Isabelle Deems. Jo Ann lived a life centered around family, kindness, and the simple joys that brought people together. She worked for many years as a storage facility site manager before retiring and was known for her strong work ethic, caring heart, and the warmth she brought to everyone around her. Above all else, she treasured time spent with family and loved ones. She was a devoted fan of the Kansas City Chiefs and rarely missed an opportunity to cheer them on. Jo Ann also loved animals, fishing trips, backyard cookouts, and creating lasting memories with family and friends. Her home and heart were always open to others. She was preceded in death by her mother, Anita Isabelle Deems; her father, Charles Edward Dills; her son-in-law, Aaron McNally; and her grandson, Tyler McNally.
She is survived by her daughter, Michelle McNally; grandson, Jared McNally and his wife, Calista McNally; granddaughter, Jolee McNally and her fiancé, Gabe Glenn; as well as her beloved dog, Allie, and her cat, KC, along with many other family members and friends who will miss her dearly. Jo Ann will be remembered for her compassion, loyalty, sense of humor, and the love she gave so freely to both people and animals alike.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations of food or money be made to a local animal shelter, or that an animal be adopted in Jo Ann's memory — a tribute that would have meant a great deal to her. Celebration of life details to be determined in the near future.
