Robert Lynn "Bobby" Stubblefield entered his heavenly home on Monday, September 30, 2024, at Hillcrest Medical Center, Tulsa, at the age of 73. Arrangements are entrusted to the care of Mobley-Groesbeck Funeral Service of Sand Springs.

A Celebration of Bobby's Life will be 3 p.m., Saturday, October 26, at Keystone Hills Baptist Church.

Bobby was born on May 12, 1951, in Enid, Oklahoma, to Robert Floyd Stubblefield and Roberta Rae (Tickle) Stubblefield. He grew up in Enid and graduated from High School in the Enid area, where he enjoyed playing football. After high school, Bobby attended welding school and worked as a pipeline welder, traveling to 44 states to work on pipelines and refineries.

Bobby met his wife, Sherry Lorraine (Caughell) Dowdy, while country western dancing, a shared passion that brought them together. They married on August 22, 2009, in Las Vegas, Nevada.  Their passion was country western dancing, and they spent many years two stepping around the dance floor. Bobby was a cowboy through and through, known for his starched shirts, cowboy boots, and an endearing sense of humility, kindness, and humor. He was a talented horseshoe artist, using his welding skills to craft unique creations. His contagious laughter brought joy to everyone around him, and he never spoke a bad word about anyone.

Bobby was a faithful member of Keystone Hills Baptist Church, where his heart for service shone through.

Bobby is preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his beloved wife, Sherry, of the home; his children: Brian Stubblefield and wife, Mandy, and Melissa Hyde and husband, Ricky, all of Duncan; his brother, Steve Stubblefield and wife, Ruth of Enid; his sister, Janis Jordahl and husband, Steve of Yukon; and six grandchildren.
