If you didn’t know Jesus, you would after you talked to Carla! His love and light shined through her abundantly!

Carla Sue Longshore, age 59 of Sapulpa, passed from this life to her loving eternal home on Sunday, June 28, 2026 at 9:56 PM.

Carla will be laid to rest at Woodland Memorial Park in Sand Springs on July 3, 2026 at 10:00 AM. A-VOW Chaplain Andy Plunk will perform the service. Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Mobley-Groesbeck Funeral Service of Sand Springs.

Carla Sue Hardage was born on January 20, 1967 in Chandler, Arizona to her loving parents Billy and Barbara Hardage. She was a graduate of Charles Page High School Class of 1985.

Carla was married to Gerald Hensley on January 26, 1985. The love of this union produced two of Carla’s greatest blessings, Billy Wayne Hensley and Heather Sue Hensley. Carla could always be found at whatever activity her kids were involved in and was their biggest cheerleader, always! Gerald, Carla, Billy and Heather are all together again as Gerald, Billy & Heather had all been in Heaven for years before her.

Carla met Daniel Longshore while she was the Office Secretary at Eagle Point Christian Academy and they later married November 16, 2001. During their life together you could find them fishing, off-roading, traveling and going to concerts! Before Heather went to Heaven, she blessed them with Brody Wayne Hensley-Moushon! Brody was blessed to get to live with them after his Mom’s passing and you were sure to find them supporting Brody at whatever activity he was participating in. As Brody has grown, he has been chosen to be the Drum Major for the Sapulpa Big Blue Band and if you knew Carla, you know that he is her absolute favorite drum major! Carla told us all, and I quote, “Brody has always been my reason to breathe and my purpose to persevere!”

Carla always had a way of helping others even through the tremendous grief that she lived with every day. She always found a way to pull up her big ol’ granny panties and get the job done! She approached ALS the same way! She fought so hard and she did not lose, because in the end she received the greatest gift of all. We all know her crown is loaded with jewels, and her mansion is the cleanest one in Heaven! Carla’s faith was admired by many. She gave all glory to God every day! If you didn’t know Jesus, you would after you talked to Carla! His love and light shined through her abundantly!

Carla is survived by her husband Dan and grandson Brody of the home; Brother David Hardage of Sperry; Sister Cindy Bartling and husband Rusty of Cleveland; Niece Chastity Campbell and husband Robert of Sand Springs; Niece Chelsea Hardage of Owasso; Niece Cheyenne O’Rourke and husband Ryan of Jennings; Nephew Brandon Bohannon and wife Amber of North Carolina.

Carla is also survived by her Great-Nephews and Great-Nieces Sofia & Hallie Robertson; Kevin Pilon, Jr.; Cameron, Branson, Clay, Gatlin, Autumn and Elsie Bohannon and a host of relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her Grandparents H.E. & Opal Hardage, Pearl Nichol & John White; parents Billy & Barbara Hardage; Husband Gerald Hensley; Son Billy Wayne Hensley and Daughter Heather Sue Hensley.

They say that one’s life is not told by the date they are born or the date they pass from this life. It is told by what type of living was done during the dash in between those dates. It is safe to say that Carla’s dash was full!

As her family, we would like to thank everyone that showed up for Carla at any point in her life but certainly here at the end. A special thanks to A-VOW Hospice, JR Watts Foundation, Fyzical Therapy & Balance Center and her TRIBE! You ALL went above and beyond.

Faith, Hope and Love…the greatest of these is Love!

See you on the flip side, Carla!
