Carol Beth (Hayes) Foster, 75 of Sand Springs passed away on Thursday, December 7, 2023, at Arbor Village in Sapulpa, with her loving family by her side.

Carol was born in Enid, OK to Charley Hansford and Betty Ruth (Jones) Hayes on July 13, 1948.  She graduated from Field Kindley High School in Coffeyville, KS and continued her education in nursing attaining her Bachelor of Nursing and becoming a registered nurse.  She married the love of her life, Michael Timothy Foster on June 3, 1972, in Parsons, KS.

Michael and Carol lived in Parsons, KS, Claremore, Pryor, and Bernice, OK before settling in Sand Springs in 1979.

Carol spent most of her 40 plus year nursing career working in oncology and in hospice care.  She was a compassionate, devoted, and selfless caregiver helping those going through the toughest times of their lives.

She is survived by her sons, Alan and his wife Lisa, Evan and his wife Amanda; daughter-in-law Melissa Foster; brother Kent Hayes and wife Karen; sister Julie Foister; sister-in-law Terrie Hayes; her eight grandchildren, Lauren Paige Foster, Kayla Grogan and her husband Max, Braden Foster, Raegan Foster, Michael Foster, Kambren Foster, Kellen Foster, and Brennen Foster; and great grandson, Foster McBroom; special uncle, Bob Hayes, lots of cousins, nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Michael Foster; her parents Charley and Betty Hayes; son Mark Foster; and brother Keith Hayes.

Arrangements have been entrusted with Mobley-Groesbeck Funeral Service of Sand Springs, OK.

Services will be Saturday, January 6th, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Patrick's Catholic Church in Sand Springs.
