Carol Sue (Castor) Marlow, lovingly known to many as "Grammy," passed away on Thursday, July 24, 2025, at the age of 82. Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Mobley-Groesbeck Funeral Service of Sand Springs.

A funeral service celebrating Carol's life will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, August 1, at the Jim Groesbeck Memorial Chapel at Mobley-Groesbeck Funeral Service in Sand Springs. The service may be viewed live at https://webcast.funeralvue.com/events/viewer/114603. A graveside service will follow at 1:30 p.m. at Fort Gibson National Cemetery. Family and friends are invited to gather for a time of visitation on Thursday, July 31, from 5:00–7:00 p.m. at the funeral home.

Carol was born January 4, 1943, in Muskogee, Oklahoma, to Harry Castor and Lilly (Hammack) Robbins. She was raised in Haskell and graduated from Muskogee High School. Carol lived most of her life in Haskell, where she was known for her hard work, outgoing personality, and deep love for her family.

Over the years, Carol wore many hats—hairstylist, college staff member, manufacturing worker, and for 25 years, a proud and capable truck driver. She was as spirited as she was strong, always ready to lend a hand or speak her mind. Her love of people and natural warmth drew others to her.

Carol had a passion for horse racing and shared this love with her husband, Donald Virgil Marlow. The couple raised racehorses together building a life filled with adventure and love until Donald's passing in 2016.

Family was the heart of Carol's world. She treasured holidays, family gatherings, and any time spent with her grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren. She was happiest surrounded by loved ones, especially her little ones, who brought her endless joy.

Carol was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Donald; her children, James David Lee, Amanda "Mandy" Jo Lee, Shelly Marlow, and Mike Marlow; her parents; and her siblings, Ronald "Ronnie" Castor, Jimmy Castor, and Karen.

She is survived by her children: Valorie Jean Juarez and husband, Rudolph, Danny Marlow and wife, Kelly, Raymond Marlow, Don Marlow, Steve Marlow, Gary Marlow, and Gayle Marlow; along with a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren who will carry on her legacy of strength, love, and resilience.

Carol will be remembered for her fierce spirit, generous heart, and the joy she brought to every room she entered. Her memory will live on in the lives of all who loved her.
