Carol Michelle "Shelly" Smith, 62, of Tulsa, passed away in Tulsa on Saturday October 16, 2021.

Shelly's care has been entrusted to Mobley-Groesbeck Funeral Service in Sand Springs.

Shelly was born in Tulsa, OK on February 25, 1959 to Charles Clyde and Claudia Mae (Badgwell) Poyner. After graduating from high school, Shelly married the love of her life, Robert Royal Smith (Bosco) in 1977. She worked as a seamstress for Action sewing and was also self-employed for a time, with a small sewing shop behind her home. Shelly enjoyed sewing, crafting and gardening in her flower beds.

Survivors include her son: Robert Joshua Smith (Samantha Ramsey); daughter Misti Michelle Smith (Anthony Whalen); brother, Charles Michael Poyner; two sisters, Vivian Renee Wilson and Juanita Collette Leigh; eleven grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.

Shelly was preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Claudia; Husband, Robert; and a sister, Teresa Ann Niman.

Memorial services will be held for Shelly on Wednesday, October 27, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Mobley-Groesbeck Funeral Service, Sand Springs with Pastor Scott Ferguson officiating.
