Cathy Dian Schroeder entered her heavenly home on Friday, August 22, 2025, at the age of 73. Her passing leaves a deep void in the hearts of all who knew and loved her. Arrangements are entrusted to the care of Mobley-Groesbeck Funeral Service of Sand Springs.

Memorial service will be held 2 p.m., Saturday, September 20, at The Chapel at Resthaven Funeral Home, Oklahoma City.

Born on April 17, 1952, in Gainesville, Texas, Cathy was the beloved daughter of Ervin Fulton and Nellie (Green) Stapleton. She spent her early years in Amarillo before her family settled in Tulsa, where she graduated from Central High School.

Cathy was a vibrant soul—funny, spicy, and full of life. She had a gift for making people laugh with her quick wit and unforgettable sayings. Her warmth and humor were matched by her deep love for her family, friends, and animals.

She especially loved fishing, finding peace and joy in the quiet moments by the water. Her cooking was legendary, and her enchiladas were a cherished favorite among those lucky enough to enjoy them. Cathy's home was always filled with love, laughter, and the comforting aroma of a meal made with care.

Known affectionately as "Mamaw," Cathy adored her grandchildren and great-grandson. She was a devoted mother and grandmother, always present with a listening ear, a warm hug, and boundless love. Her pets held a special place in her heart—her dogs were treated like royalty, and her cherished Budgies, Cookie and Freddie, continue to carry her spirit forward.

Cathy's love for music and dancing brought joy to many gatherings, and her presence lit up every room she entered. She was caring, compassionate, and fiercely loyal to those she loved.

She is preceded in death by her son, Stephen "Ryan" Edward Schroeder and his wife, Tiffany; her parents, Eugene and Nellie; and her brother, Stanley Fulton.

Cathy is survived by her daughters, Tabitha Arain and Amanda McElhaney; her grandchildren, Maya Arain, Sophia Arain, Noor Arain, Abbegail Hall and husband Austun, Julia McElhaney, Allie Schroeder, and Madelyn Grace Schroeder; her great-grandson, Kian Pueblo; her brother, Dan Fulton and wife Sara; and sister-in-law, Beverly Fulton.

Cathy's legacy lives on in the laughter she inspired, the love she gave, and the memories she created. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
