Cathy Lois (Hardesty) Troll departed this life on Sunday, February 27, 2022, at her home at the age of 68. Arrangements are entrusted to the care of Mobley-Groesbeck Funeral Service of Sand Springs.

The daughter of Kenneth Patrick "Pat" Hardesty and Claudia Ernestine (Buckles) Hardesty was born November 6, 1953, in Joplin, MO. The family moved to Tulsa, and Cathy graduated from McLain High School. During her high school years, Cathy was selected to travel to Europe as a foreign exchange student and was able to see most of Europe. It was an experience that she enjoyed and talked about throughout her life.

It was during a friend's party in 1990 that Cathy met the love of her life, Arthur R. Troll. They soon became inseparable, and were married on December 19, 1993, in Tulsa. They moved to their current home in Sand Springs in 1995. Cathy worked as an assistant to the Tulsa County Clerk and had plans to become the next Clerk. Those plans were cut short when the elected official she worked for did not win the next election. Cathy went on to operate her own children's day care in Tulsa before retiring.

Cathy loved to travel with Arthur and was an avid fisherman on the Ladies Pro Bass Fishing circuit. They owned a home in Port Aransas, TX, for many years where she enjoyed spending her time. Cathy loved collecting owls. She never met a stranger, and will be remembered for her friendly, sweet and caring nature. She will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Cathy was preceded in death by her parents.

Survivors include her loving husband, Arthur; 3 stepdaughters; 5 grandchildren; brother, Kenneth Patrick "Bud" Hardesty and wife, Susan of Wichita, KS; sister, Rebecca "Becky" Hardesty of Mulberry, KS; a niece, and several nephews.
