Charlene was born in Claremore, Oklahoma, on January 2, 1968, to Joe Coon, Jr. and Florine (Hummingbird) Brooks. Following her graduation from High School, Charlene attended some college. While in Beauty College, Charleen was the model for her friend Angie and they won 2 nd place. MeeMee, as she was known by her grandchildren, and Charley Girl by other family members, was a great homemaker. She loved to cook and was very good at it. Fixing excellent meals for the family and cookouts for the Birthday Parties. Her family, especially the grandchildren, was the light of her life. Charlene could not be around them too much. Family time was so important to Charlene. She enjoyed eating steak and Mexican food. To say that Charlene was a social butterfly, would be an understatement. She enjoyed visiting with her friends on the phone, computer, and Facebook. Charlene is the former Administrator of the Sand Springs Gossip Central. This alone should explain the real Charlene Mann. Purple was her favorite color. Charlene's radiant personality and beautiful smile will be missed by both her family and friends.

Charlene was preceded in death by her Dad Joe Coon, Jr.; and grandson Wesley.

She is survived by her mother Florine Brooks and husband Kenneth; son Edward Joseph Parson; daughters Christian Nicole Parson and Amanda Lachelle Parson; sisters Carmaleta Coon, Helenia Rusher, and Kimberly Hughes; 13 grandchildren; other cousins, nieces, nephews, and relatives as well as many, many friends.
