Charles Royce "Chuck" Gray, 57 passed away on Wednesday, June 21, 2023, at the age of 57 in Oklahoma City.

Visitation will be held at Mobley-Groesbeck Funeral Service, Sand Springs on Wednesday, June 28, 2023 from 1 pm to 7 pm, with the family receiving friends from 5 pm to 7 pm.  Funeral services will be held in the funeral home chapel on Thursday June 29, 2023 at 11 am, with Brother Jimmy Noe officiating.

Chuck was born on December 1, 1965 in Tulsa, OK to Charles Luther and Barbara Pauline (Taber) Gray.  He graduated from Charles Page High School in 1984 and served as a Page in Washington D.C. during high school.  After graduating, he continued his studies at the University of Oklahoma receiving a Bachelor Degree in Communications with a Minor in Psychology.  Upon graduation Chuck worked for news station KHOG in Fayetteville, AR but returned to Oklahoma to utilize his degree in psychology with the State of Oklahoma, where he was employed for many years. He later began studies to obtain his Bachelor of Science Degree and started his medical career as a registered nurse with OU Hospital in CVICU during the covid epidemic.  In 2021 he went to work for St Anthony's Hospital and at time of death was an Emergency Room Registered Nurse.

On April 18th, 2019 in Oklahoma City, Chuck married his soulmate, Rodrigo O. De Castro.

Chuck is remembered by his family as being a loving husband, brother and uncle, who enjoyed kayaking, music, reading, art museums, travel and included backpacking across Europe.

Survivors include his husband, Rodrigo; sister, Sherri Hinton (Pat); bonus brother and cousin, Ed King (Phyllis); nieces, nephews, friends and his beloved pets Oliver and Kika.

Chuck was preceded in death by his mother, father and great niece Abigail Raglin.
