Charles Edward "Charlie" Graham entered his heavenly home on Tuesday morning, February 11, 2025, at the age of 93. Arrangements are entrusted to the care of Mobley-Groesbeck Funeral Service of Sand Springs.

Funeral service celebrating Charlie's life will be 11 a.m., Saturday, February 15, at The Father's House with Pastor Danny Lynchard officiating. Charlie will be laid to rest at Woodland Memorial Park with military honors by the U.S. Army. Viewing will be held at the funeral home 12-8 p.m., Friday, with family greeting friends 6-8 p.m.

Charlie was born on December 14, 1931, in Tulsa, Oklahoma, to Charles Franklin Graham and Ida Mae (Flick) Graham. He was raised in Sand Springs and graduated from Sand Springs High School in 1950. Following graduation, he attended business school before embarking on his career.

On August 30, 1952, Charlie married the love of his life, Mattie "Loraine" Thompson, in Alexandria, Louisiana. They shared 72 wonderful years together.

Charlie worked as a welder at National Tank, Western Supply, and Superior Hard Surfacing. He was raised in Sand Springs Church of God, where his children also attended, and later became a member of The Father's House. His faith was a guiding force in his life, and he loved attending church until he was no longer able to do so.

Charlie was an active member of his community and a dedicated family man. He coached Little League baseball and enjoyed hobbies such as hunting, fishing, gardening, and building things. He loved crafting bluebird houses, which he placed throughout Sand Springs as a member of The Bluebird Association. He was also a proud member of the Billie A. Hall American Legion Post 17.

Charlie had a warm, jovial spirit and was known for greeting others with a hearty, "How you be?" He loved to tell jokes and bring smiles to those around him. He was always willing to lend a helping hand to anyone in need.

Charlie honorably served his country in the military. He served in the Oklahoma Army National Guard and was deployed to Japan and Korea, during the Korean War. He later continued his service in the Oklahoma Air National Guard.

Charlie is survived by his beloved wife, Loraine Graham; his children: Roger Graham and wife, Debbie, Janna Maggard and friend, Arnold, and Steven Graham and wife, Patsy, all of Sand Springs; his grandchildren: Jennifer, Bethany, Heidi, Byron, Arnie, Alden and wife, Candace, and Sean and wife, Katie; and his great-grandchildren: Cylie, Camden, and Apollo.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Ida; his brothers: Ben, Cecil, and Luther Graham; his sisters: Betty Mae Graham and Ruth Wofford; and half-siblings: Howard, Ruby, and Eileen.

Charlie's legacy of love, laughter, and service will forever be cherished by his family, friends, and community. He will be deeply missed.
