Christine Murray, age 93, passed away peacefully on August 31, 2026, in Jenks, Oklahoma. Services are entrusted to Mobley-Groesbeck Funeral service in Sand Springs, Oklahoma.

Christine was born on December 18, 1932, in Cherokee County, Oklahoma to Dorsey and Rachel Manes. She attended Hulbert Public schools before moving to Tulsa, where she met the love of her life, Earl "Junior" Murray. Christine and Junior were married for 68 years.

A devoted homemaker, wife and mother of three children, Christine dedicated her life to caring for her family. She enjoyed attending ball games, cooking, gardening, building puzzles and spending time with her family and her dog. 

Christine was a member of River Oaks Christian Church in Jenks.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Junior; son Darold; daughter-in-law Susy; two sisters, Shella and twin Blondeen; four brothers, Bill, Dee, Frank, and David.

She is survived by her daughter, Peggy Morrow and husband Kem; her son Jimmie Murray; four grandchildren, Kendra Banks and husband Dee, Shannon Huerta and husband Tony, Jarrod Murray, Kelsey Rae Morrow and husband Jeffrey; three great-grandchildren, Kaydee Wright and husband Creede, Dominic Huerta and Jayden Murray; and one great-great-grandchild, Berkley Wright.

A funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Friday, September 4, 2026, at River Oaks Christian Church in Jenks, Oklahoma. Interment will follow at Oak Hill Cemetery in Mannford, Oklahoma.

Christine's legacy of love, devotion, and faith will continue to live on through the family she cherished and the many lives she touched.
