Christy Renee Davis departed this life on Thursday, May 4, 2023, at the age of 53. Arrangements are entrusted to the care of Mobley-Groesbeck Funeral Service.

Funeral service will be 1 p.m., Tuesday, May 9th, at Mobley-Groesbeck Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Don Cook. Burial will follow at Oak Hill Cemetery, Mannford. Visitation will be 12-8 p.m., Monday at the funeral home.

Christy was born August 21, 1969, in Tulsa to Thomas Leonard Burk and Gladys Marie (Mills) Burk. She attended Tulsa Public Schools and graduated with the Central High School class of 1987. Christy had an incredible work ethic, maintaining several jobs while attending high school. She later went to work with Response Media where she met the love of her life, Donald Lee Davis. They were united in marriage on June 21, 1991 in Tulsa. They were soon blessed with two children, Courtney and Devon. Their home became a popular gathering place where Christy was an amazing host to many.

Christy worked as the office manager at W.L. Walker Company for nearly two decades. When she wasn't working she enjoyed gardening, sitcoms and listening to music on the porch with friends and family. She and Don also enjoyed traveling. Some of her favorites were their repeat trips to Florida and Colorado, simply to relax. Christy was a fantastic cook. She was absolutely great on the grill and made the best grilled chicken. She passed on her love for cooking to her children and their spouses.

Everyone that met Christy loved her. She had a bright radiant smile that brightened our days, was immensely kind and selfless, and aimed to make everyone around her happy.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Thomas and Gladys Burk and her father-in-law Donald Davis Sr.

Christy is survived by her loving husband of 32 years, Don; children, Courtney Davis of Broken Arrow, Devon Davis and wife, Rachel of Sand Springs and son at heart, Mitchell Martin and wife, Kayla and their son, Odin all of Sand Springs; siblings, Darlene Bailey and husband, Bruce of Tulsa, Eddie Burk and wife, Misty of Sapulpa, and Maryann Rose and husband, James of Dallas; nieces and nephews, Sarah Covington, Alan Bailey, Teresa Bailey, Ashley Rose, Lenny Rose, and Josh Rose.
