Cissy Walters, age 55, a homemaker, passed away in Tulsa, Oklahoma, on May 20, 2024. She was born on September 1, 1968.

Mom had a deep love for arts and crafts, especially plastic canvas. She also enjoyed teaching me to cook, listening to Tracy Lawrence, collecting Betty Boop memorabilia, watching WWE on Fridays, and never missing an episode of Judge Judy at 4 PM—her favorite show. Growing up, Mom learned barbering, and as an adult, she worked various jobs while being a full-time mom. She cherished spending time with friends and family, always keeping her door open, even if she had just cussed you out, LOL.

Proud of her Cherokee and Creek heritage, Mom took great pride in being a Native American woman. She is survived by her daughter Miranda, son-in-law Cameron, grandson Kolson, and her beloved fur baby Sapphire. Her siblings Freddy, Tina, Naomi, and Carrie, along with her many nieces and nephews, also mourn her loss. Additionally, Mom had a bonus family through her sister of 45 years, Tressa Baxter, and her husband Jr. Her bonus children include Reba, Shawn, Julia, and Amber, and she adored her 10 bonus grandchildren.

Mom is preceded in death by her son Robert Scott, her parents, her baby brother, and many other close friends.
