Clara LaFern O'Kief Swift, age 99 years, was born in Keystone, OK to Selena and Otto O'Kief. She was a graduate of the Keystone High School in 1944. She was named the class Valedictorian of that class. She also graduated Oklahoma A&M College (now Oklahoma State University) in 1949 with a Bachelor of Science in Commerce degree. She worked as a Secretary for Stanolind Oil & Gas Company from 1949-1952. She married Virgil Neil Swift in 1950. She resigned her job at Stanolind and became a fulltime housewife in 1952. She was a lifetime member of the Methodist/United Methodist Church. She became the mother of Troy O'Kief Swift in 1958 and the grandmother of Summer O'Kief Swift in 1998.

She is survived by her husband Virgil Neil Swift of San Marcos, TX, son Troy O'Kief Swift, his wife  Athanasee (Paddack) Swift also of San Marcos , granddaughter Summer O'Kief (Swift) Register and her husband Matthew of Little Elm , TX, nephew Larry O'Kief Turner and wife Linda of Oklahoma City, OK, niece Pam(Turner)Williams and husband Lloyd of Cleveland, OK, niece Frosty Jan (O'Kief) Ness and her husband Doug of Portland, OR.

Funeral services will be held at Mobley-Groesbeck Funeral Home, Sand Springs, OK at 2:00 PM, Monday, April 28, 2025. Interment will be at the Woodland Memorial Park in Sand Springs, OK.
