Daniel Joseph Myers departed this life on Saturday, September 11, 2021, at St. John Hospital at the age of 37. Arrangements are entrusted to the care of Mobley-Groesbeck Funeral Service of Sand Springs.

Funeral service will be 10 a.m., Wednesday, September 15, at Hillspring Church with Rev. Larry DeLay officiating. Dan will be laid to rest at Woodland Memorial Park. Visitation will be held at the funeral home Tuesday from 8 a.m.-8 p.m.

The son of Steven Myers and Rhonda (Florence) Myers was born April 25, 1984, in Tulsa. Dan graduated from Berryhill High School where he played football, baseball, and basketball. Four years ago, while working at Gateway Mortgage Group he met the love of his life, Jordan Brooke Helton. After finding out Daniel's cancer diagnosis, they moved their wedding date up and were married July 15 of this year.

Dan liked to fish, golf, play Call of Duty, and watch others pursue Bigfoot on television. He cherished his time playing outside with Maxwell; and was the funniest person you would ever know with the best dad jokes. He was the leader and voice of his family as the one everyone would come to for advice and support. He genuinely loved his family and friends. That's who he was.

Survivors include his loving wife, Jordan; son, Maxwell Myers; his parents: Rhonda Myers and Steve Myers; grandfather, Glenn Myers; siblings: Amanda Myers, Marianne Myers (Jordan McCown), Kate Whiteman (Mike), Sarah Myers (Stafford Thomas), David Myers, and Josh Myers; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Jeffrey and Kimberly Cross; brother-in-law, Tyler Helton; sister-in-law, Lacy Cross; nieces and nephew: Audrey, Alex, Mary and Danielle; and many aunts, uncles and cousins.
