David Eric
Horn
Oct 24, 1968 — Jul 30, 2023
Owasso
David Eric Horn, 54, of Owasso, Oklahoma entered Heaven on July 30th, 2023, at 1:00 pm. David was born in Tulsa, Oklahoma on October 24, 1968, and blessed Kenneth and Diana Horn by becoming their son when they adopted him four days later. David started his elementary school days at Sand Springs, but due to Kenneth's ministry, he attended Lenapah High School in South Coffeyville, Oklahoma, and returned to the Tulsa area to graduate from Central High School in 1986. David was a very talented musician. While in high school, he discovered his love for music. He chose the saxophone as his band instrument, and while he was a very accomplished saxophone player, he could pick up any instrument and immediately start playing. David spent many years playing music at church and playing music festivals with Diana and his brother Greg. He even played the saxophone for his brother Darrell's wedding. David joined the US Army after high school, where he served for two years. After the army, David worked several jobs over the years, many that he loved. However, his favorite was being a commercial truck driver. David was quick witted, humorous, and very knowledgeable about a variety of topics. He enjoyed woodworking, working on cars, and working with his hands. David had the uncanny ability to fix anything. He spent three months on a mission trip to Malawi, where kept the compound running smoothly by repairing anything that broke. David was preceded in death by his grandparents, and his mother, Diana Horn of Sand Springs. David was survived by his father, Kenneth Horn and wife Patricia of Sand Springs, Oklahoma, two brothers, Darrell Horn and wife Shellie of Bixby, Oklahoma and Greg Horn and wife Sarah of Austin, Texas, niece Danielle Peery and husband Jerimiah of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma, nephew Aydin Horn of Bixby, Oklahoma, and niece Audrey Horn of Austin, Texas, and longtime friend Alan Widdoes, of Owasso, Oklahoma. David was also blessed with numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and a host of friends who will miss him dearly.
David will be missed greatly, but we can take comfort knowing he is with his mother and many relatives and friends, until we see him again.
