Deanna Lee
Miles
Jul 7, 1957 — Apr 27, 2025
Broken Arrow
DeAnna Lee Miles, affectionately known as "DeeDee," entered her heavenly home on Sunday, April 27, 2025, at the age of 67. Arrangements for her cremation have been entrusted to the care of Mobley-Groesbeck Funeral Service of Sand Springs.
DeAnna was born on July 7, 1957, in Coffeyville, Kansas, to Delvee Joseph Soles and Beverly Ann (Littrell) Soles. She grew up in Coffeyville and graduated from Field Kindley High School with the Class of 1975. During her school years, she was a talented musician in the marching band, playing both the clarinet and flute, and was active in VICA (Vocational Industrial Clubs of America).
After high school, DeAnna moved to Tulsa, Oklahoma, where she earned her medical assistant certification from the Bryant Institute. She devoted much of her early adult life to raising her daughters, Kimberly and Jennifer, in Tulsa and later in Broken Arrow. She also served as a dedicated Camp Fire Leader for many years, creating lasting memories and friendships along the way.
While out with friends, DeAnna met the love of her life, Ronald Steven Miles. They were married on December 19, 1993, at the United Methodist Church in her hometown of Coffeyville. Together, they built a home, and a life filled with love in Tulsa and then Broken Arrow.
DeAnna had a deep love for her family and found joy in the simple things—reading a good book, snacking on sunflower seeds, and diving into ancestry and genealogy research. She was especially close to her daughters and treasured every moment spent with them. Growing up, she attended the United Methodist Church in Coffeyville, and her open heart and listening ear reflected her faith and compassion. She was known for her loving, caring spirit and her ability to truly listen when someone needed to talk.
A devoted fan of NASCAR, DeAnna proudly cheered for Dale Earnhardt, Sr., and could often be found rooting for her favorite football team, the Denver Broncos.
DeAnna was preceded in death by her beloved mother, Beverly Ogden; her daughter, Kimberly Michelle Rutherford; and her infant twin brother and sister, Karroll Dean and Krystal Jean Soles.
She is survived by her loving husband, Ron Miles; her children: Jennifer Marie Rutherford, Rhonda Kay Finer and husband Daris, Ronald S. Miles, Jr. and wife Kristie, and Robbie Lee Miles; her father, Delvee Soles and wife Margaret; step-dad, Wayne Ogden; siblings: Linda Jo Soles Watkins of Broken Arrow, John Heeren and wife Elizabeth of Memphis, Tennessee, Joe Ogden and wife, Lisa of Catoosa, and Casey Ogden and wife, Carmella of Canyon, Texas; grandchildren: Ty Austin Rutherford, Lane Wyatt Rutherford, Landon Lee Harrison, Jaydon Lee Harrison, Jessica Finer, Cody Finer, Kaitlyn Finer, Cassandra Biermann, and Sarah Miles; niece and nephews: Matt Dean and wife Breanne, Stephanie Dean, and Garrett Dean; and numerous loving great-grandchildren, cousins, extended family members, and friends.
DeAnna's warmth, humor, and unwavering love will live on in the hearts of those who knew her. She will be deeply missed.
