Diana Lynn McCracken entered her heavenly home on Wednesday, April 9, 2025, at St. Francis Hospital in Tulsa at the age of 78. Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Mobley-Groesbeck Funeral Service of Sand Springs.

Diana was born on December 2, 1946, in Winfield, Kansas, to Howard Lee Randolph and Evelyn Nadine (Rogers) Randolph Foushee. She spent her early years in Winfield, Kansas, before moving to Sand Springs, Oklahoma, where she graduated from Charles Page High School.

Diana married Stanley "Sonny" Brown, and they shared 15 years together. From this union came her beloved son, Paul David Brown. Years later, Diana reconnected with a former classmate, Richard Dewain McCracken—a childhood crush who would become the love of her life. They were married on October 11, 2002, in Sand Springs. Diana and Richard enjoyed many happy years together, often fishing side by side and sharing their time as active members of the Elks Lodge in Cleveland, where Diana served as secretary.

A hard worker and independent spirit, Diana spent much of her career in the oil industry, investigating and purchasing oil leases throughout northeast Oklahoma. She also worked at the Bank of Oklahoma for a time and retired at the age of 65. Following her retirement, she devoted herself to caring for Richard during his illness, demonstrating deep love and unwavering strength.

Diana found joy in the simple pleasures of life—crocheting, reading, and spending time with those she loved. She will be remembered for her resilience, quiet strength, and enduring love for her family.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard McCracken in 2017; her son, Paul David Brown in 1996; and her step-sons, Richard B. "Richie" McCracken in 2004, and Ronny Paul McCracken in 2019.

Diana is survived by her cousins: Charlotte Herkender and husband, Clarence of Collinsville, and Debbie Smith and husband, Kevin of Fort Worth, Texas; her brothers: Roger Griffith, David Griffith and wife Maurine, and Thomas Griffith; numerous step-grandchildren and step-great-grandchildren.

Though Diana's earthly journey has come to a close, her memory will remain a guiding light to all who knew and loved her.
