Dorothy Jean Goode passed into heaven on August 9, 2025 at the age of 95.

Dorothy was born on January 5, 1930, in Coffeyville, Kansas, and spent her early years in Parsons, Kansas, where she graduated from Parsons Junior College.

In April 1951, she was united in marriage to Bobby Lee Goode in Eureka, Arkansas. They shared a loving marriage until his passing in 2007.

For 35 years, Dorothy served as a secretary with Sand Springs Public Schools, where she was highly valued for her dedication, professionalism, and warm spirit.

During her active years, Dorothy was a devoted member of First Christian Church, where she was actively involved in the choir and frequently participated in community concerts. She was also an accomplished seamstress who took great joy in sharing her talents with others.

She is survived by her daughters, Caroline Goode of Sand Springs, and Robbie Drake and her husband, David, of Owasso.

Graveside services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, August 13, at Woodland Cemetery in Sand Springs, with Pastor Scott Ferguson officiating.
