Dorothy Ann Rehorn, a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, entered her heavenly home on Friday, June 7, 2024, at the age of 90. Born on December 24, 1933, in Burbank, Oklahoma, to Roscoe Sherman Johnson and Cora Susan (Christy) Johnson, Dorothy lived a life full of love and devotion to her family and friends.

A graveside service will be held in her honor at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, June 12, at Oak Hill Cemetery in Mannford. Visitation will be from 12-8 p.m. on Tuesday, June 11, at Mobley-Groesbeck Funeral Service of Sand Springs, with family receiving friends from 6-7 p.m.

Dorothy attended Fairfax High School, where she was an active member of the Glee and Pep Clubs. It was there that she met her high school sweetheart, Henry Everett Rehorn. The two were married on October 13, 1951, in Fairfax and began their life together in Wichita, Kansas, where they both worked the night shift at Boeing, with Dorothy serving as a tool chaser. When Henry was drafted into the Army, they moved to Ft. Lewis, Washington. After his discharge, they moved to North Tulsa, before settling in the Coyote Trail community of Sand Springs.

Dorothy's career included roles at Keystone schools' cafeteria, Buster Brown, and her longest tenure as an inspector at Nelson Electric. She had a passion for sewing, quilting, embroidery, and crocheting, and was renowned for her excellent cooking skills. Her chicken and noodles, dressing, bread, buns, and occasional doughnuts were family favorites, often enjoyed at holiday meals in her home. Dorothy cherished the annual Christy family reunions and the time spent with loved ones.

Dorothy and her husband, Henry, were both baptized at Lakeview Christian Church in Mannford. She will be remembered for her sweetness, her ability to get along with everyone, her pride, and her deep love for her family.

Dorothy is preceded in death by her parents; an infant son; brothers: Ray, Clarence, and Chester Johnson; and sisters: Ollie Bayird and Clairene Brotherton. She is survived by her loving husband, Henry, of the home; daughters: Beverly Walker and husband, Gary, of St. Augustine, FL, and Barbara Huntsinger and husband, Bob, of Broken Arrow; brother, Rusty Johnson and wife, Lynette; grandchildren: Chris Varner and wife, Kasey, Brian Varner and wife, Brandie, Kevin Huntsinger and wife, Christy, and Curtis Huntsinger and wife, Cherish; 11 great-grandchildren, and 10 great-great-grandchildren.

Dorothy Ann Rehorn will be dearly missed by all who knew her. Leave your memories of Dorothy and view her tribute online at www.mogro.co.
