Douglas "Doug" Mac Harris, aged 80, from Sand Springs, peacefully passed away on February 27, 2024. Born on July 11, 1943, in Hugo, Oklahoma, Doug was renowned for his strong work ethic and unwavering commitment, particularly demonstrated through his boundless love and generosity for both family and the local community.

Having served in the United States Army from 1963 to 1968, Doug embarked on a career as an Aircraft Mechanic at American Airlines in Tulsa, OK, dedicating over 25 years to his profession. In parallel, he proudly owned Sand Springs Rebuilders for over 25 years, collaborating closely with his sons in Sand Springs, OK.

Survived by his son, Todd D. Harris, daughter, Tammy L. Willemstein, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren, Doug was preceded in death by his wife, Lois Ann Harris, son, Chris Barbee, father, Johnnie Robert Harris, and mother, Lois Velma Harris.

Doug found joy in family moments and worshiped at Sand Springs Church-Nazarene, Cathedral of Praise, and First Assembly of God Church. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the Parkinson's Foundation at https://www.parkinson.org.
