Edith Ann "Edie" Odom, age 83, passed away peacefully on July 20, 2026. Edie dedicated more than 20 years of her life to working in retail at Target. She was known for her strong work ethic, kind heart, and welcoming smile. She enjoyed the friendships she made with her coworkers and the connections she built with customers throughout the years.

Edie was preceded in death by her parents, Ira and Elsie Lay of Sand Springs; her brothers, John Lay and Russell Lay, both of Sand Springs, and Richard Lay of Virginia; her husband, Albert Oswald Odom of Tulsa; her daughters-in-law, Jennifer Wilson and Sheila Odom, both of Tulsa; and her beloved grandson, Albert Shae Odom of Tulsa.

She is survived by her three sons, Greg Wilson, Albert Glenn Odom, and Brian Odom, all of Tulsa. She also leaves behind eight grandchildren, more than a dozen great-grandchildren, and many extended family members and dear friends who will forever cherish her memory.

Edie will be remembered for her love of family, her resilience, and the kindness she showed to those around her. Her presence will be deeply missed, but her memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.
