Edith Marie (Crawford) Roberts, 84, of Sand Springs passed away at St. Francis Hospital on Wednesday June 22, 2023

Visitation will be held at Mobley-Groesbeck Funeral Service on Monday June 26 from 1 pm to 8 pm with the family receiving friends from 6 pm to 8 pm.  Funeral services will be held on Tuesday June 27 at 10 am at Amazing Grace Holiness Church with Brother Daryl Brewer officiating.

Edith was born on October 14, 1938 in Seymour, TX to Virgil Odis and Lillie Edna Lucille (Corley) Crawford.  She was a homemaker who enjoyed sewing, gardening, cooking, and canning and also sold Avon to supplement the family's income.  She operated Miz Edith's Kitchen in the early years of Sand Springs Farmer's Market.  In her later years she looked forward to visiting the senior citizens' center where one of her primary interests was quilting.  Edith was a devout member of the Sand Springs Holiness Church.

Those left to mourn her passing are her son, Timothy Roberts (Susan); three daughters, Phyllis Polnack (Glen), Elizabeth Roberts, and Kim Hewitt (Cliff); her brother, Paul Crawford (Nancy); eight grandchildren, Josh Hewitt (Amanda), Sam Hewitt (Adria), DeAnna Tabor (Nathan), Kayelyn Polnack, Kristen Bernard (Ethan), Joanna Jones (Sheldon), Emilie Roberts, TJ Roberts; 18 great grandchidren and many nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.

Edith was preceded in death by a son, Wayne Allen Roberts; five brothers, Lloyd, Buel, James, John and Dale; four sisters, Eva Anderson, Neva Shatswell, Alice Crawford, Laurine Crawford and her parents.
