Frankie Dale Ferrell entered his heavenly home on Sunday, September 17, 2023, at the age of 70. Arrangements are entrusted to the care of Mobley-Groesbeck Funeral Service of Sand Springs.

Frankie was born April 15, 1953, in Kansas City, MO, to Willard Clyde Ferrell and Helen Lynn Stiver. Frankie became the man of the house at a young age. Leaving high school to help support his mom and sisters. The family moved to Tulsa, and Frankie went to work with McDonald's. He also pursued work at Sutherlands and at a veterinary hospital. Many nicknamed him the animal whisperer due to his ability to connect with the animals he cared for. Frankie would spend most of his career as a welder and retired in 2001 from Air X-Changers.

Set up on a blind date, Frankie met the love of his life, Sherry Lea Campbell. They were united in marriage on May 29, 1971, in Tulsa. Frankie was easy going and laid back, a little ornery and sneaky. He enjoyed spending time with his family, he loved all animals, riding his bike, and running. He always started his conversations with, "Whatcha know kiddo?", and leaving you with a long, "Byeeeee". He was also a regular jokester often yelling, "Bug, bug, bug!",

Frankie is preceded in death by his beloved wife of 44 years, Sherry; his parents; brothers: Billy and Larry Ferrell; sister, RaDeena Ferrell; and son-in-law, Edward Davis.

Survivors include his children: Franklin Wayne Ferrell and wife, Jamie, Christi Davis, and Yolanda Gibson and husband KerWynn; brother, Ronnie Ferrell and wife Paula; sister, Crystal Stiver; grandchildren: Kaitlin Cisse and husband, Mo, and Collin Hoppes; great-grandchildren, Zahra Cisse; and niece, Amanda Ferrell. He also leaves behind his beloved dog companions, Chica and Brody; and many grandpuppies, grandcats, and grandbird that he cherished as well. He was Pa Pa to every creature; everyone was his family.
