Freida Myrl (Boyd) Puckett, 97 of Sand Springs went to meet her husband Coy in heaven on Friday November 17, 2023.

Visitation will be held at Mobley-Groesbeck Funeral Service on Monday November 20, 2023 from 1 pm to 8 pm with the family greetings friends and family from 5 to 7pm.

Funeral services will be on Tuesday November 21, at 11 am in the funeral home chapel with interment to follow in Memorial Park Cemetery, Tulsa.

Freida was born on April 10, 1926 in Sinton, Texas to Earl Winfred and Winnie Bell (Waddell) Boyd.  The family moved to Sayre, Oklahoma where she graduated from high school, and met the love of her life, Coy Henry Puckett and they were married on May 27, 1944.  While Coy served his country in WWII, Freida moved to Tulsa and worked for Sun Oil Company.  She later worked at Oklahoma Natural Gas where she retired as a Commercial Account Supervisor after 25 years in 1994.  Her family states that she was a hard worker, very energetic and constantly finding something to fill her time.

Freida and Coy enjoyed traveling with their family around the United States and Europe.  They were members of the First United Methodist Church in Sand Springs for years. She loved her family, caring for her grandchildren and being very supportive of everyone.

Left to mourn her passing are her son, Gary Puckett; daughter Beverly Hubanks and her husband Glen; three grandchildren, Amy Holland, Ashley Sumner (Adam), Chad Hubanks (Brigette); 7 great grandchildren, Chandler Feeler, Lauren Feeler, Colton Acreman, Emarie Sumner, Ellasyn Sumner, Izzy Hubanks, and Wyatt Hubanks.

Freida was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 69 years, Coy.
