George David Finney,60, of Sand Springs passed away at his home on Monday, December 13, 2021 with his family by his side..

George's care has been entrusted to Mobley-Groesbeck Funeral Service in Sand Springs.

He was born on May 11, 1961 in Harvard, IL to Thomas Larkin and Dimple Pauline (Cherry) Finney.  His family moved to Sand Springs, and he graduated from Charles Page High School.  George married the love of his life, Jean Lynn Adams, whom he cherished since junior high school.  He began working in plastics manufacturing and became the individual that was called upon to service any and all the machinery.  George worked for Sigma Stretch, Poly Film and Tyco Plastics over the years.  He enjoyed camping, fishing, wood working, working on cars and most of all, being with his family. Also known in the community as the man that can fix anything.

Survivors include his wife of 41 years, Jean; four sons, David, Devin, Dustin, Dallas; brother, Thomas Lee Finney and sister, Terrie Louise Brimer.

The family invites you to join them as they celebrate George David Finney, receiving his wings, at True Baptist Church, 410 Terrace Drive Sand Springs on Monday December 20, 2021 at 1pm with Brother John T. Collins officiating.
