Grady Roe Vandiver Jr. was born June 14 th , 1944, to Grady Roe Vandiver Sr and Betty (Parks) Vandiver in Lake Charles, Louisiana. Grady was called from this life at his home on April 16 th , 2022. He lived in many different places during his childhood, giving him a love for traveling the world. Grady graduated high school in 1962 from in Antlers, OK. This is where he met the love of his life, Juanita (Snow) Vandiver. They married June 13 th , 1964. Grady and Juanita have been married for 58 years.

Graduating from the University of Tulsa in 1974 with a mechanical engineering degree, Grady started a 37-year career at Yuba Corporation. He retired in 2008 and opened his own welding shop. OEM welding was operating up until the day before Grady passed away. This was true Grady fashion. He never missed a day of work unless it was for huntin or fishin. This same rule applied to his school days. Grady loved the outdoors, loved traveling, and most definitely loved music. The love for music led him to the Akdar Shrine Oriental Band. Grady entered the Sand Springs Masonic Lodge in 1985. After rising through the ranks to Master Mason in 1986, he then joined the Akdar Shrine and the Oriental Band the same year. Grady has been a member of both for 35 years.

Grady was also an ardent patriot. Grady always had an American flag on hand. His camera was also always on hand. Grady was the photographer for all events, especially family events. There were many things Grady loved in life, but he loved his wife and family the most.

Grady is preceded in death by his parents Grady and Betty Vandiver, and his half-sister Anna Jo King. He is survived by his wife Juanita (Snow) Vandiver, daughter & son in law Tim and Melissa Weaver, granddaughter Shelby Weaver & step grandsons Luke Weaver and Ben Weaver.

Grady Roe Vandiver Jr. will be forever loved and fiercely missed.
