Gregory Lee Barnes was born on July 22, 1959, to Doris and Derral Barnes. He is survived by his wife of 40 years, Angela, and their four children, Michael (wife Jennifer), Rachel (husband Ryan), Michelle (husband Joey), and Sarah (husband Alex), as well as seven wonderful grandchildren.

Greg worked for many years as a stone fabricator, installing granite countertops and cabinets, and doing various construction and remodeling jobs. He spent much of his life working with his hands, often putting in long hours to support his family.

Outside of work, Greg enjoyed doing yard work, often with a beer in one hand and a cigarette in the other. He also will be remembered for the nights he would sing karaoke and for playing competitive ping pong at family gatherings.

Greg passed away after a period of illness, leaving behind family and friends who each will remember him in their own way. A service will be held at Mobley-Groesbeck Funeral Services, Thursday, Nov. 21st at 10:00am.
