Obituary

Listen to Obituary
With heavy hearts and profound sadness, we mourn the loss of our beloved Harmony Mae Ranson, born on September 21, 1942, in Houston, Texas, an only daughter to Jessie Mae Guinn and Arthur Jackson. Harmony embarked on a remarkable journey through life, touching the lives of countless individuals along the way. She loved to swim, fishin' all day, square-dancing, her white Firebird, the music of Elvis Presley, and lavished affection on many precious dogs and cats throughout her life. She made her home near Sapulpa, Oklahoma where she spent decades among family and so many close friends... and her hair was perfect.
A remarkable woman who left an indelible mark on the hearts of all who had the privilege of knowing her, she was a devoted wife to Wayne Ranson, loving mother of Terry Ranson, doting grandmother of Tuesday Ranson, and sister by choice to Carol Jones for 73 years.  She will be missed. Though we mourn her loss, we also celebrate the incredible impact she had on our lives. The memories she leaves behind will forever resonate within us, her spirit forever intertwined with ours.
A service for Harmony will be held on May 24, at 2 pm, at Mobley-Groesbeck, 211 East Broadway in Sand Springs. Together, let us remember Harmony with love, gratitude, and the enduring legacy she leaves behind. May her soul rest in eternal peace.
