Harold Wayne Baker, 71, Cleveland, Oklahoma, passed from this life, Monday, August 23, 2021. Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Mobley-Groesbeck Funeral Service of Sand Springs, Oklahoma. There will be a Memorial service at a later date.

Wayne was born in Tulsa, Oklahoma to Harold Baker and Mary Alpha (Huff) Baker, on November 25, 1949. Following his schooling, Wayne served in the United States Marine Corp. He became a machinist and worked in the oil and gas industry. Wayne loved to watch all sports. He did play golf and enjoyed drag racing. Wayne was a true car guy and could name most of the cars in the 50's and 60's just by appearance. He did enjoy seeing his family and had that way of clearly expressing himself. You didn't have to wonder what he was thinking. He will be greatly missed by both family and friends.

Preceding Wayne in death was his parents Harold and Mary Baker and longtime friend Judy.

Wayne is survived by special grandchildren Shawna, Danielle, and Terry; sisters Amy Taylor and husband Kevin and Sandra Aveni; brother Kevin Baker; nieces and nephews Kyle Baker and wife Kimberly, Shane Aveni and wife Bree, Kaitlin Baker, Hannah Baker, and Ashley Baker; many other relatives and a host of friends.
