Heather Lee
Pfarr
Jun 30, 1975 — Aug 4, 2022
Skiatook
Heather Lee Pfarr went to her heavenly home on Thursday, August 4, 2022, at the age of 47. Arrangements are entrusted to the care of Mobley-Groesbeck Funeral Service of Sand Springs.
Memorial service will be 2 p.m., Wednesday, August 10, at Reach Church in Tulsa.
The daughter of Gary Leon Smith and Gwen (Burgess) Smith was born June 30, 1975, in Tulsa. On October 30, 1992, Heather married the love of her life, Jerry "Alan" Pfarr, in Fayetteville, Arkansas. Heather graduated from Memorial High School in 1993. Throughout the years she worked at Double Tree, Elks Lodge, and the Women's Center.
Heather was a dreamer, always initiating ideas, and determined to make her dreams a reality. She was a hard worker; many would say a workaholic. Her passion in life was serving others through her food, and she never said, "no" to serving others. Heather helped to establish Mary Martha Ministries at Word of Life Church. If the church doors were open, she was putting together meals, catering events, feeding everyone that came through the doors, or gathering supplies and groceries to serve more people.
There were many family and friends that didn't realize Heather had been sick for the past 15 years. She never complained and brought sunshine to everyone's life with a smile. Heather will be dearly missed by everyone who knew and loved her.
Heather is preceded in death by her parents.
She is survived by her loving husband of 30 years, Alan; her children: Abby Childress and husband, Doug, Ashlynn Thurber, and Kelby Pfarr and wife, Haley; and four grandchildren: Avery Poole, Quincey Janeway Kayden Pfarr, and Adelyne Pfarr.
