Clara Irene Gill, known lovingly by family and friends as Irene, entered her heavenly home on Saturday, April 12, 2025, at the age of 74. Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Mobley-Groesbeck Funeral Service of Sand Springs.

Irene was born on November 8, 1950, in Tulsa, Oklahoma, to William Hays Terrell and Edna Agatha (Stolker) Terrell. She graduated from Charles Page High School and later lived in Camp Pendleton, California, and New Mexico before making her home in the Tulsa area.

With a deep desire to care for others, Irene earned her degree in home health care from Wrights Community College. She served as a registered nurse, working for Dr. Honeyacre in Sand Springs, and later retired from Tulsa Jewish Retirement and Health Care Center. Her gentle spirit and dedication to her work made her beloved by patients and colleagues alike.

Irene's life was a testament to strength and resilience. Born with a heart murmur, doctors did not expect her to live past her teenage years—yet she defied the odds, living a full and meaningful life. She enjoyed crocheting in her quiet moments and was known for her special, kind nature. A woman of quiet faith, she was of the Catholic faith.

She is survived by her loving children, Stewart Davis and his wife, Megumi, of Sapulpa, and Rachel Gill of Oregon; and by her sisters: Christine Arnold of Arlington, Texas, Barbara Burke and husband, George, of Broken Arrow, and Hattie Burchfield and husband, Mike Walker, of Edgewater, Florida.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her brothers, James Lee Terrell and William Thomas Terrell.

Irene's life was marked by courage, compassion, and quiet grace. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
