James Edward Orcutt, 67, Glenpool, Oklahoma, passed from this life Sunday, June 5, 2022. Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Mobley-Groesbeck Funeral Service of Sand Springs, Oklahoma. A Memorial service for James will be Tuesday, June 14, 2022, at 5:00pm, in the Mobley-Groesbeck Funeral Service Chapel. Pastor Clint Miles will officiate.

James was born in San Antonio, Texas, on December 28, 1954, to Adolphus (Dolf) Orcutt and Juanita (Walker) Orcutt. He was married to Connie Shipley in Dallas, Texas, on October 5, 1973. Together they were able to enjoy more than 48 years of marriage. James worked as a machinist with Baird Manufacturing and was the Plant Manager. He will be greatly missed by his family, friends, and co-workers, especially his assistant and close friend Jose Flores.

James enjoyed the outdoors. He loved going to the lake and taking float trips down the Illinois River. James had a passion for horses. He was a member of a Riding Club and was always happy to be riding on his favorite horse, Fat Boy. James loved the times he could spend with his family and especially loved being a Grandpa.

James was preceded in death by his parents Dolf Orcutt and Juanita Poston; son Jason John Orcutt; and brother Kenneth Orcutt

He is survived by his wife Connie Orcutt; daughter Lorrie Orcutt; grandchildren Gage Tiger, Isaac Tiger, and Elijah Tonlinson; sisters Beatrice Harrell, Cynthia Orcutt, and Joye Orcutt; brothers Roy D. Orcutt, Monte Orcutt and wife Donna, and Roger D. Orcutt and wife Donna; many other relatives and a host of friends.
