Jamie Luann
Robison
Dec 17, 1963 — Sep 1, 2024
Sand Springs
Jamie LuAnn Cornelius was born on December 17th, 1963, in Tulsa, Oklahoma, to parents Jimmy Ray Cornelius and Billie Doris Cornelius. She grew up in Terlton, Oklahoma, and attended school in Cleveland, Oklahoma, where she graduated from Cleveland High School in 1981.
In 1982, Jamie married and welcomed her first child, a daughter named Kara, in 1983. For a time, it was just Jamie and Kara until she remarried and gave birth to her second child, a son named Charles, in 1989, affectionately known as CJ. Life led Jamie and her two children to meet her third husband, Raymond Robison, who would become her lifelong partner. They married in 1995, and in 1996, they welcomed their son, Raymond "Bryce." Together, they formed a close-knit family of five, relying on one another through life's challenges.
Jamie worked at WorldCom for many years, building lasting friendships as she navigated the company's changes from WorldCom to MCI-WorldCom, MCI, and eventually Verizon Business. She served as a tech for sixteen years before being laid off. Despite this setback, Jamie took on various temporary jobs, including working at the Osage Nation Casino in Sand Springs and for Pioneer Woman in her warehouse. She was a woman of many talents, always willing to try something new and never considering herself above anyone else.
In 2010, Jamie and Raymond purchased a home in Prue, where they established their permanent residence. Jamie made their home a safe haven for her children, who returned there whenever they needed support. In 2012, they became guardians to two of their grandchildren, Jayden and Emma, whom they raised as their own.
In 2020, Jamie was diagnosed with breast cancer. She fought bravely, ultimately undergoing a mastectomy and becoming cancer-free. However, in 2023, the cancer returned, affecting her lymph nodes.
Jamie passed away in the early morning hours of September 1st, 2024, surrounded by her children and her husband of 29 and a half years.
She is survived by her husband, Raymond Robison, and her children: Kara Brayfield and her husband Dylan, along with their six children, Destiny, Hope, Grace, Zoe, Savanah, and Zebadiah; Charles "CJ" Perryman and his wife Marissa, and their children Jacoby and Thomas Ray "Trip"; Raymond "Bryce" Robison, Charles "Jayden" Perryman, and Emma Perryman. Jamie is also survived by her siblings, Candice Keightley, Randy Cornelius, and Jodi Gills, as well as numerous great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Jimmy Ray and Doris Cornelius, and her older sister, Cherie Cornelius.
