Deloris Jane Roberts, lovingly known as Jan, passed away on May 2, 2026, at the age of 77. She was born in Tulsa, Oklahoma, October 19, 1948, and lived a life defined by devotion to her family, her faith, and her many talents.

Jan is survived by her high school sweetheart and husband of fifty-seven years, Clarence Alvin Roberts, Jr., known to all as Bud. She leaves behind her children: Tammy Torkleson and husband Craig of Sand Springs, Oklahoma; April Madden of Kansas City, Missouri; Emily Baenziger and husband Jeff of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma; and Ryan Roberts and wife Julie of Tulsa, Oklahoma. She was a proud and dedicated grandmother to twelve grandchildren: Kyle Torkleson and wife Haley; Alex Torkleson and wife Lauren; Scott Torkleson and wife LeeAnna; Isaac Torkleson; Gwendolyn Madden; Fiona Madden; Lindsey Schultz and fiancé Taylor; Nicholas Schultz and wife Sarah; Isabella Baenziger; Grace Roberts; Scarlett Roberts; and Lucas Roberts. She was also blessed with three great-grandchildren: Jude and Charlie Torkleson (Kyle), and Reed Torkleson (Scott).

She was preceded in death by her parents, Harold and Margorie Sarah Beale and her brother James Beale.

After marrying Bud on July 28, 1968, Jan converted to the Catholic faith and remained a devoted and active member of her church communities throughout her life. She generously gave her time and talents, serving for many years as the bookkeeper for Holy Family Cathedral and later for Saint Catherine of Alexandria Parish. She attended Sacred Heart Parish for many years and Saint Patrick Church was her most recent parish.

Jan was a woman of remarkable intellect and discipline. She attended Oklahoma State University on a full music scholarship, earning the distinction of First Chair Violin. Following her marriage, she continued her education at Southwestern Oklahoma State University where she obtained her degree in Accounting. She went on to pass the Certified Public Accountant exam on her first attempt—an accomplishment that reflected her dedication and perseverance.

A lifelong lover of literature, Jan was rarely without a book—often reading more than one at a time. Her passion for music and the arts shaped her family life; she made certain that each of her children played an instrument and experienced dance, and singing, instilling in them an appreciation for creativity and expression.

Known affectionately as "Mimi," Jan was deeply involved in the lives of her grandchildren. She attended countless school programs, sporting events, and special occasions—sometimes even splitting her day between multiple schools to ensure she could be present for each grandchild. Her love was steadfast, her presence constant, and her support a guarantee.

Jan will be remembered as kind, quietly fierce, and endlessly devoted. Her strength, resilience, and unwavering commitment to her family created a legacy that will endure for generations. She will be deeply missed and forever cherished by all who knew and loved her.
