Jeff
Stiltner
Dec 4, 1961 — Mar 14, 2024
Broken Arrow
Jeffery "Jeff" Stiltner, age 62, entered his heavenly home on March 14, 2024, at Select Specialty Hospital in Tulsa, Oklahoma. He was born in Buchanan County, Virginia, to Dillard Stiltner and Dorothy (Shortridge) Stiltner. Jeff leaves behind a legacy of love, kindness, and cherished memories that will forever live in the hearts of those who knew him.
Jeff's journey began in Tampa, Florida, where he spent his formative years, shaping the essence of who he was to become. He was a devoted professional truck driver, spending much of his career on the road and in team driving. He settled in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma, where he found joy in the simple pleasures of life.
In the midst of life's adventures, Jeff crossed paths with his beloved wife, Raye Lynn (Davidson) Guynn, during a night out with friends. Their connection was instant, and they remained inseparable for 14 beautiful years. Jeff embraced his role as "Papa Jeff" to Raye Lynn's grandchildren, showering them with love and affection.
A man of faith, Jeff found solace and guidance in the teachings of the Bible, which he could quote with ease. His gentle spirit and compassionate nature endeared him to all who knew him. Jeff had a quick wit and a knack for humor, always ready to bring a smile to the faces of those around him.
Jeff's passions were varied and vibrant. He had a deep love for horses and cherished the moments spent trail riding, particularly with his favorite horse, Max. He enjoyed friendly card games, especially Gin Rummy, with close friends Belinda and Kurt. An avid NASCAR and Dallas Cowboys fan, Jeff found excitement in cheering on his favorite teams.
After retiring from trucking, Jeff found relaxation in watching the Hallmark channel, appreciating the warmth and positivity it brought into his life. His presence will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
Jeff was preceded in death by his parents, Dillard and Dorothy Stiltner, as well as his son, Josh Allen Stiltner, brother, Dean Stiltner, and sisters, Teresa Ramirez and Dorothy Stiltner. He is survived by his loving wife, Raye Lynn; sister, Charlene Stiltner; brothers: Gary Dangerfield and Norman Parsons; and his grandchildren: Dillon Shipley, Kolten Shipley, Casey Field, Tyler Smith, Trevor Smith; along with numerous nieces and nephews.
A graveside service to celebrate Jeff's life will be held at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, March 20, at Woodland Memorial Park Cemetery in Sand Springs, Oklahoma. Prior to the service, visitation will take place from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Mobley-Groesbeck Funeral Service in Sand Springs.
Jeff's memory will forever be cherished, and his legacy of love and kindness will continue to inspire those who were fortunate enough to know him. May he rest in eternal peace.
