Jeffrey L. Uebelhart of Sand Springs, Oklahoma, passed away on December 1, 2024, at the age of 65. Arrangements are entrusted to the care of Mobley-Groesbeck Funeral Service of Sand Springs.

Jeffrey was born in Beaver, Pennsylvania, to James and Joyce Uebelhart, one of eight children. He moved to Tulsa, Oklahoma, in the 1970s and called the area home for the remainder of his life.

Jeffrey is survived by his daughter, Jocelyn Castro, and her husband, Luis; granddaughters: Jonalyn and Trisana Uebelhart, both of Tulsa; and grandson, Blake Jones of Barnsdall, OK. He is also survived by his seven siblings: Jayme Taylor and husband, Ronald, of New Brighton, Pennsylvania; James Uebelhart II of Broken Bow, Oklahoma; Joel N. Hart of Colorado Springs, Colorado; Jody L. Ruckstuhl of Cleveland, Ohio; John G. Uebelhart of Lansing, Michigan; Jocelyn U. Hansen and husband, Donald, of Tulsa, Oklahoma; and Jay R. Uebelhart and wife, Christina, of Colorado Springs, Colorado. Jeffrey leaves behind many nieces, nephews, and great-nieces and nephews across the country.

He was greeted in heaven by his parents, James J. and Joyce L. Uebelhart; his son, Isaiah Daniel Uebelhart; his sister-in-law, Suzy Uebelhart; and his nephew, John Jacob Uebelhart.

Jeffrey was an accomplished executive chef in the Tulsa area for over 25 years, specializing in large banquets. He was known for his exquisite food presentations and his stunning ice carvings, which were often the centerpiece of events.

In addition to his culinary talents, Jeffrey loved singing. In his younger years, he performed at the renowned Heinz Hall for the Performing Arts in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, and even ventured to New York City to pursue a Broadway dream. Throughout his life, Jeffrey cherished singing in church and sharing his faith, remaining active in his church community.

Growing up as one of eight children, Jeffrey, affectionately known as "Jeff" or "Ube," was full of energy and joy. His siblings fondly recall his warm smile and contagious laughter. He created cherished family memories, from ice skating on frozen ponds to helping his mother, "Grandma Joyce," enjoy fireworks on the 4th of July.

Jeffrey was a devoted father, dedicating much of his life to raising his children, often as a single parent. He loved traveling with them, taking adventurous trips to visit family across the country and exploring remarkable landmarks such as Niagara Falls, the Grand Canyon, and even camping in Canada. As a former scout and dedicated leader, Jeffrey was proud to support his son Isaiah in earning his Eagle Scout rank.

He had a deep love for the outdoors, especially camping and fishing, and found joy in helping out on the farm. His positive spirit endured through life's challenges, and he greeted the world with a warm "same old same old, just a different day."

Jeffrey's kindness, warmth, and devotion to his family and faith will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
