Jerry Frederick Bullard, a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and friend, entered his heavenly home on Monday, January 5, 2026, at the age of 88. Jerry's life was marked by gratitude, humor, hard work, and an unwavering devotion to his family—who were truly the center of his world. Arrangements are entrusted to the care of Mobley-Groesbeck Funeral Service of Sand Springs.

A funeral service celebrating Jerry's life will be held at 9:00 a.m. on Tuesday, January 13, at the Jim Groesbeck Memorial Chapel at Mobley-Groesbeck Funeral Service, with his son, Jerry, officiating. A graveside service will follow at 12:30 p.m. at Resthaven Memorial Park in Shawnee.

Jerry was born on August 17, 1937, in Briartown, Oklahoma, to Virgil Lee Bullard and Grace Josephine (Wilkins) Bullard. The youngest of four children, he was born in the family farmhouse, a place that reflected the values of faith, perseverance, and togetherness that would guide his life. He graduated from Maud High School, where he proudly played football, and it was there that he met his high school sweetheart, Wanda Marie McKinney—the love of his life.

Jerry continued his education at East Central University in Ada, earning a Bachelor's degree in Business. While attending college, he joined the Army Reserves, serving faithfully for seven years. On February 4, 1961, Jerry and Wanda were married in Tulsa while he was home on leave from the Army, beginning a beautiful marriage that spanned more than six decades.

Jerry built a successful career in the oil field supply industry, beginning with Continental Emsco. His work took his growing family across the Oklahoma Panhandle, Kansas, Tulsa, and eventually to Sand Springs, where they settled and made their home. Later, he worked with Continental Supply and went on to co-found Continental Industrial Supply with two partners, selling industrial tools. Jerry retired in the early 2000s, leaving behind a legacy of integrity, dedication, and entrepreneurship.

In retirement, Jerry fully embraced the simple joys of life. He loved fishing—especially bass fishing—bird hunting, golfing, and arrowhead hunting with his family. He enjoyed participating in bass fishing tournaments and was a proud member of the Oil Capital Bassmasters. Jerry also planted an orchard, started a Christmas tree farm, and took up beekeeping, always eager to learn something new. A collector at heart, he delighted in vintage oil field and petroleum signs, pedal cars, and antique gas pumps—anything that reflected his lifelong connection to the energy industry.

Above all else, Jerry's favorite pastime was being with his beloved wife, Wanda. The only things he didn't share with her were ladies' breakfast and aerobics—everything else, they did side by side. Jerry was known for his quick wit and infectious humor; he was always funny, always grateful, and always appreciative of life's blessings.

Jerry was a faithful member of Prattville Church of Christ and was active in his community. He helped organize events for the Maud High School alumni and was a member of the Red Castle Gun Club. Though he was involved in many activities, family remained his highest priority—truly the only thing that mattered to him.

Jerry was preceded in death by his wife, Wanda Bullard, in 2022; his parents; and his siblings, Jack Bullard, Bettye Baldwin, and Mary Ann Seaton.

He is survived by his sons, Jerry Don Bullard and wife, Terry L., of Skiatook, and Terry Russell Bullard of Sand Springs; grandchildren, Alicia Grace Broyles, Jacquelin Esther Williams and husband, Dustin, Wade Lee Bullard and wife, Madison, Raina Dawn Olivas and husband, Matthew, and KealyOna Joy Bullard; 14 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews who loved him dearly.

Jerry Frederick Bullard lived a life full of laughter, love, and gratitude. His legacy lives on through the family he cherished and the many lives he touched. He will be deeply missed and fondly remembered.
