Jerry, the son of Benjamin Huey Patterson and Ruby Virginia (Williams) Patterson, was born April 7, 1944, in Stilwell, OK. He attended Hobbs, NM schools until 8th grade when the family moved to Sand Springs, OK. In 1962, Jerry graduated from Charles Page High School. On October 26, 1962, Jerry married the love of his life, Judy Ann Snelson; and they recently celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary.
After high school, Jerry went to work for Kerr Glass. In 1965, he went to work for the City of Sand Springs as a water meter reader; and retired in 2019 after 54 years of service. Jerry loved to listen to bluegrass music. He and Judy enjoyed traveling and especially enjoyed attending the annual Silver Dollar City Bluegrass Festival. Jerry enjoyed collecting bluegrass cd's and loved sharing his favorite music with friends and family.
Jerry was quiet as well as a tad bit ornery. He looked forward to playing with the kids, enjoyed pestering others, and gave strong hugs. He will be greatly missed.
