Jerry Young, 81 of Sand Springs, passed away at his home on Saturday December 24, 2022 with his family at his bedside.

Care of Jerry's services have been entrusted to Mobley-Groesbeck Funeral Service.

Jerry was born Jerry Dean Musgrove on July 12, 1941 to Willis and Bernice (Thurman) Musgrove in Okemah, Oklahoma.  He attended college for a couple of years and worked in the Tulsa area as a stationary engineer before moving to California where he later retired from St. Luke Hospital in San Francisco, CA.  He moved to Oregon where his son Jason joined him and they enjoyed camping, hunting, and fishing together, before moving back to Oklahoma and settling in Sand Springs.  Jerry was a member of the Bristow Christian Center in Bristow, OK.

Jerry is survived by two sons, Jason Musgrove, Jeff Musgrove and his wife Elizabeth; daughter, Jeanne Morgan and her husband Brian.  He was preceded in death by a son, Kenneth Musgrove; his parents Willis and Bernice and a sister Bonnie Riggins.

Memorial services will be held at a later date.
