Jesse Sam Henson, known to many as "Bo", passed from this life Friday, February 4, 2022, at his home. He was 83 years old. Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Mobley-Groesbeck Funeral Service of Sand Springs, Oklahoma.

Funeral services for "Bo" will be Friday, February 11, 2022, at 1pm, in the Mobley-Groesbeck Funeral Service Chapel. Visitation for "Bo" will be Thursday, February 10, 2022, from 5pm till 7pm.

Bo was born in Sallisaw, Oklahoma, on August 26, 1938, to Jesse Lee Henson and Myrtle (Vasta) Henson. Bo was always known to be a dedicated employee. He was employed with Kerr Glass for many years and later with the Sand Springs School System as a Janitor. Everyone he met became his friend. He enjoyed fishing, watching Old Western Movies, antiquing, flea markets, and listening to music from the past. As much time as he could, Bo would be with his beloved family. Dancing and singing with them. He loved his grandchildren. Bo was a great and loving husband, dad, and Pawpaw. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends.

Bo was preceded in death by his parents Jesse and Myrtle Henson and wife Shirley Henson.

He is survived by his children Angie Henson, Naomi Henson, Jesse Henson, Christopher and wife Jessica; step-children Tina Barrows, Shirley "Sissy" Elliot, Carrie Moss, Michael Phillips, and Freddy Walters; 14 grandchildren; many other relatives and a host of friends.
