Jody Edward Allen was born September 7, 1972, to Eddie and Irene Allen in Tulsa, OK. He crossed the Rainbow Bridge on March 28, 2025, at 11:46 A.M. in Sand Springs, OK, at the home where he was raised. He was surrounded by the love of family and friends.

Jody graduated from CPHS in 1991. He then took sign language classes at TCC and used them throughout his life. Jody enjoyed his jobs and was a very hard worker. His hobbies included coloring, listening to music, and playing his Xbox. He had a great eye for photography. Jody loved the Annual Lake Trip reunion more than anything, where he was the camp boss.

He was well known at the Oklahoma International Bluegrass Festival and The Woody Guthrie Festival, where he served as a bodyguard for various bands like Red Dirt Rangers and DoublnotSpyZ. His smile was famous, and his hugs were warm and heartfelt.

Jody is preceded in death by his mother, Irene Allen; his brother, Brad Allen; and his brother-in-law, John Swindell. He is survived by his father, Eddie Allen; his sisters, Kristie Swindell and Kathie Williams and her husband, John; his nieces, Krystal Williams, Trisha Watkins and her husband, Kevin, Misty Allen, Traci Gant and her husband, Cody. He is also survived by his nephew, Tyler Swindell, and his wife, Sam; his great-niece, Lindsay Swindell; and his great-nephew, Brody Gant. He leaves behind many, many cousins, and No One's Got More Friends Than Jody!
