John Frederick Fair, born the third and last child to James Douglass Fair and Marjorie Ann Fair (Dunegan) on December 10, 1961, of Tulsa, Oklahoma.  He attended Wiley Post Elementary School growing up, then the summer of 1973 moving to Hallett, Oklahoma; John attended the Cleveland Public Schools in Cleveland, Oklahoma.

In 1982 John joined the US Marine Corps and served at both Camp Pendleton in California and Camp Lejeune in North Carolina. His military service was in heavy vehicle operations. He received an honorable discharge in 1986.

He married Patricia Wright in 1982 in Cleveland, Oklahoma; his high school sweetheart, the love of his life for eighteen years.  They then moved to Blackwell, Oklahoma in 1986 for two years before moving to Sapulpa, Oklahoma in 1988.  He received his Associates in Applied Sciences degree in 1988 at Spartan School of Aeronautics in Tulsa, Oklahoma.  Throughout his working career, John led departments of quality control, including his training received in San Francisco, California.

After a few years living in Sapulpa, John and Patricia moved to Broken Arrow, Oklahoma.  In 1994 they moved to Tulsa, Oklahoma.

He met Lisa Carnes in 1999 in Sand Springs, Oklahoma.  They moved to Broken Arrow, Oklahoma briefly and moved back to Sand Springs, Oklahoma where Julian Fair was born on July 31, 2002, John's first and only child. Along with Julian, John loved and cared for Ashley Bell, Justin Carnes, Janie Moore, and Nikki McClanahan as if they were his own children.

From the age of twelve through twenty years old, his passion became apparent in 'Motocross and Flat Track' motorcycle racing.  With many years of successful '1st place' flat track wins and trophy's, and later in life learning; he realized his 'Real' passion in life was the birth of his son, Julian.  And from July 31, 2002 on, John lived, talked about, and highlighted his love for Julian.

It was three years later, John moved once again to Sapulpa, Oklahoma for a short time, then moving to Mannford, Oklahoma in 2006.  He later met and married Barbara Sneed in 2017.

John briefly moved to Houston, Texas in 2019 and worked in quality control for electric transmission towers in Houston.   After a year he moved back to Mannford, Oklahoma where he lived out the remainder of his years until passing.

In the last five years, John began to reach out to his lifelong, and reunited friend; Patricia, his first wife.  When he became ill, she continued to provide friendship, encouragement, and support for his overall well-being and often spoke about how she prayed and wanted only the best for John, despite their previous separate ways.

Frontier Hospice of Tulsa, Oklahoma became support for John, as did Julian, his son. He daily verbalized how grateful, and thankful of all the care he was surrounded by.

Surviving relatives are: His son, Julian Fair and wife Megan of Sapulpa, Oklahoma and two grand-children; Grayson and Braelyn; bonus children, Ashley Bell, Justin Carnes, Janie Moore, and Nikki McClanahan; sister, Sandra Keen and her husband David Keen of Ponca City, Oklahoma. His brother, George Daniel Fair of Conroe, Texas and several nieces and nephews.

Our family thanks you so much for the special care that you provided for him; physically, mentally, and spiritually!
