Joseph “Joe” Anthony Winkler, 92, passed away peacefully on September 21, 2026. He was born on November 27, 1933, in Temperance, Michigan, to Clemence and Julia Winkler.

Joe was a graduate of Bedford High School in Temperance, Michigan. He came from a large family of ten children, with four sisters and five brothers.

Joe was an avid gardener who enjoyed tending to his garden. He believed in having fun and was known for his sense of humor, especially his love of joking and teasing with those around him. He also enjoyed going to church and making trips to his favorite grocery store.

Family was an important part of Joe’s life. He was blessed with three daughters, and each daughter gave him two sons, giving Joe six grandsons to love and cherish.

Joe is survived by his beloved wife, Rose Winkler, along with his daughters, grandchildren, extended family, and friends who will remember his humor, kindness, and love of family.
